Abergavenny Local History Society can sometimes help with enquiries about local history. We can ask our members by putting up a notice on the screen at talks. A few of the members have particular interests like maps or houses of a particular period. We are not a Family History Society and cannot usually help in this area (see below).

Abergavenny Chronicle has an archive collection of newspapers, most of which are available on microfiche in the Library. WW1 editions have been digitised by the National Museum of Wales.
