Abergavenny Local History Society has over 200 members. It is run by a small committee – more people are always needed so if you would like to help please contact any committee member or alhs@live.co.uk.

Our President is Ken Key, a long-standing member and multi-tasker who also produced the Newsletter for many years.

GET INVOLVED

We are very grateful to those members who have volunteered to help with updating the Abergavenny Street Survey website, to those who have will be looking after the Victorian garden at the Castle and the member who will be looking after the Visits administration.

We are currently in need of more Committee members but there are lots of things to do and you don’t have to be on the committee! The Society always needs volunteers to help in a variety of roles in addition to the one listed below. There are behind-the-scenes activities where help would be appreciated.
